Coming in hot vs going for broke

Wow. Nothing like getting called out in articles where the whole world knows your business.

But that’s being a high-profile athlete these days.

BUT C’MON MAN!!!

It ain’t right. PLUS – taking risks is a part of business.

Being Allen Iverson

Do you remember the story about Allen Iverson not even packing for away games? He would buy new clothes to wear when he got to the city & would leave the one’s he’d just worn at the hotel.

That was part of his brand. Crazy, unpredictable – which is fine, so long as you keep some of your money.

THE MILLENNIAL ATHLETE

Now there are a select few athletes who are starting to leverage their brand in new ways. BUT NOT AS MONEY SMART AS YOU THINK.

It’s easy to make money when you have money…sometimes.

But it’s also easy to lose money because $2500 dollars to you is like $25 to me. It’s a mindset thing.

Did you read the article in INC about being smart vs. being RICH? It turns out that hard work may not determine success.

But I say:

That’s why you need a roadmap! That’s why we created ESBA!

HERE’S TO YOU

So which are you? Are you coming in to ESBA hot & fresh off a good season, flush with money?

Or are you so broke you have to reach up to touch bottom of your bank account?

>>> HERE’S THE POINT: IT DOESN’T MATTER! Because, like Allen, you can have “$200 million in career earnings” and still be broke.

Learn to be a money-savvy brander. Money adds up!

What this means for you: When you are an influencer, those $5 & $10 opportunities add up. AND it gets people used to your selective promotion of products, clicking your links & making purchases.

Simple Math: If this math of $500 million estimate is right, then LeBron + Nike over 50 years (lifetime estimate) = 10 million / year

New Math: Assuming no growth or decline in his 40.9 million followers on Twitter, 1 tweet that nets him $10 per buyer in a year = $409 million

ESBA Math: 40.9 million x 50% commission on certain affiliate products (general average of $5000 affiliate commission per sale) = Two hundred four billion five hundred million PER YEAR!

OR, let’s look at my very modest following & do the math: 7200 Twitter Followers x $800 per sale (one of my affiliate opportunities) = $5,760,000

You don’t need but 10 people to buy at those numbers for you to make $8000 from your own circle of influence in one brief week, for one product.

It’s not about big endorsement deals only – it’s about the little-by-little gains. And once you’ve been through ESBA, you’ll learn how to apply all those ‘smaller’ opportunities for those really big gains.
