Money in the bank…

Money isn’t easy. Getting a job isn’t that hard, making money isn’t too difficult either.

But keeping money & making BANK are totally different.

I remember my grandfather used to say, “Jeremie, it’s not what you save, it’s what you spend.” & when you’re an entrepreneur, there is ALWAYS a place to spend money:

  • website
  • hosting
  • virtual assistants
  • trainers
  • social media posting software
  • design software
  • bookkeeping software
  • marketing
  • copywriting
  • funnel creation
  • e-mail service provider

The list goes on & on. And just when you think you’ve made it, that you’re going to get to keep some money, someone steals your gear or you’ve got to make a new investment to grow the business.

That’s a tough thing to handle.

The good news is, you don’t have to go through all the stuff we’ve been through, if you don’t want to (but, hey, if you’re stubborn like me, maybe you SHOULD go through life the hard way – it will wisen you up sooner).

There is a great book I recommend by Michael Gerber. This book was one of the few I’ve read that completely rocked my world. I thought I was killing it as an entrepreneur – only to find out I was a technician. This was one of the books that completely changed the way I did business.

Another book I read that influenced me greatly is about how we handle money as business owners.

Finally, not a book but definitely an eye-opener, is a website written by a guy called Mr. Money Mustache. (Dave Ramsey is big picture, get out of debt, love your neighbor; MMM is more like ‘Here’s how you live like a millionaire on a regular salary, retire at 30 & use a lot of cusswords.)

Use THIS MONEY SAVER! How would you like to have an automatic savings monitor? This guy charges $2.99/mo to rack up BIG MONEY by siphoning off pennies on the dollar that you never notice to add up to big savings.

I have seen savings, on average, of $4-7k/year – that I swore I didn’t have before.

So get to saving!

PS: STOP LOSING PENNIES.
